Established in 2006, Daniel Duna Constructions Pty. Ltd is a hands-on construction organisation focused on delivering quality building and construction services, on time, within budget and meeting or exceeding specifications and customer requirements.
Daniel Duna, the Executive Director of Daniel Duna Constructions Pty. Ltd. has more than 15 years experience in the construction, renovation and extension of a wide variety of buildings and facilities, for commercial and industrial sector. Daniel has broad experience in building and refurbishment of schools, council buildings, residential centres and offices, most of which were in use or occupied, establishing a proven track record of safety and minimising disruption of facilities worked on.
A formal check list of Quality Assurance matched to client requirements and contract specifications is established for every contract and reviewed on site by Daniel Duna at least once per week. Less formal site inspections are conducted regularly every day or two as part of contract and delivery management.
Quality is not only checked against client requirements and specifications but also validated against industry standards, legal and regulatory compliance as well as our Daniel Duna Construction policies and procedures to ensure best quality at all times.
Apart from adhering to and complying with Occupational Health and Safety legislation and regulations by ensuring that all staff and subcontractors are equipped with the right apparel and safety devices, we are also constantly aware of the safety of the public by adhering to all construction site security regulations.
As we do a lot of work in schools and educational facilities, we ensure that all workers hold current Working With Children (WWC) Checks.
We strictly adhere to the Environmental guidelines and best practice for construction sites as published by EPA Victoria.
This includes pre-construction planning and design, constant monitoring and risk assessment, noise control, health risks to residents, workers and students, environmental impact, soil and waterways contamination.
Daniel Duna Constructions is committed to risk management and risk mitigation and have a proven track record of no harm construction. Areas of focus are:
Risk to the public, client organisations and students: We are acutely aware of the dangers of allowing the public (and particularly school children) into or near building sites. Where it is not possible to fully separate building sites from public areas we go to great lengths to erect safety fencing and other safety constructions to ensure that the public cannot be harmed. We have successfully delivered several large construction and renovation works to schools with over 1,000 students and more than 100 staff without injury or risk.
Risk to workers: We have an excellent track record of safe work practices with minimal injuries over 15 years of construction work. We achieve this by not only adhering to safe work legislation and regulations but also by extensive awareness training for staff and contractors to ensure that risks are identified, assessed and mitigated early.
Having built a reputation in the industry for over a decade, Daniel Duna Constructions has highly qualified staff as well as having developed a broad network of subcontractors with depth in a variety of skills and specialisations. This has enabled the organisation to ensure that it can build the capacity to deliver from small to very large contracts to exacting specifications on time, within budget and meeting or exceeding specifications and quality.
